• Early Education: Completed secondary school education at his native village, Pedapudi, near Tenali.
• Higher Education: Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from VSR College, Tenali, and earned a Postgraduate Degree in Commerce from Osmania University.
• Articleship: Trained under Sri Manepalli Narasimha Rao in Tenali, a distinguished Alumni of Anandam & Co., Hyderabad.

Soon after becoming a member of ICAI in Mar 1991, he started his professional practice in Vijayawada by establishing a new firm “M N Rao & Associates”, named after his Guru, Sri Manepalli Narsimha Rao (Late) and his Guru also joined with him in the firm as a Senior Partner.
